Uxbridge Business Networking Lunch – 30/01/2020

Uxbridge Business Networking Lunch – 30/01/2020

Uxbridge BID were delighted to sponsor the second Hillingdon Chamber Business Networking Lunch on January 30th.

During the event, we hosted over 100 professionals on the day, all of whom represented a variety of Uxbridge based office sector businesses, Hillingdon businesses and a number of Chamber associates.

We were fortunate enough to be joined by Fiona Wright Director of Savills Place-Shaping & Marketing as our guest speaker. Fiona discussed Place Shape Marketing and its place in the ever-evolving world of retail and high street businesses.

Local recruitment agencies Adecco and Uxbridge Employment Agency both commented that the networking lunch was “incredibly helpful and insightful” and that “meeting and networking with local businesses was greatly beneficial” to both them as individuals and the companies that they represented.

The Uxbridge BID team would like to thank all of those involved for their hard work in organising and running the event. We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and we can’t wait for the next on

Uxbridge Business Networking Lunch – 31/10/2019

We were delighted with the success of our inaugural Business Lunch held at The Charter Building in Uxbridge on 31st October.

The event was attended by nearly 70 individuals representing a cross section of Hillingdon businesses and a number of Chamber associates.

A huge thanks go out to our sponsors, Brunel University and their speaker Dr. Ainurul Rosli who spoke about The Brunel Hive and the universities commitment to interact with local business.

Thanks also to our hosts, The Charter Building who once again, provided fantastic support to The Chamber in running one of our events.

We received positive feedback from attendees including Alan Nolan from Handelsbanken who commented,‘ ‘It is great to see The Chamber organising this type of event which has been missing from the Uxbridge business landscape for far too long, it is always good to see so many people from the local business community come out to support The Chamber and network.’

Graham Le-Gall from Galleou Public Speaking said, ‘Fabulous event at lunchtime. I made some really good contacts and a speaking spot at a future HUBB event’.

Following the success of our first event, we will be arranging our next lunch meeting in the new year (insert date if we have finalised) when we will be hearing about the Uxbridge Bid as well as networking. Keep an eye out for further details.
