The Autumn half-term break begins on the afternoon of Friday 20 October and this will see the start of the Hayes Town Treasure Hunt for primary school children. Organised by the Hayes Town Business Forum with the support of the Hayes Town Partnership this popular annual event is now in its 11th year.

It challenges local kids and their parents to identify pictures displayed in 30 shop windows in Hayes Town. The theme for 2023 is cartoon characters and there will be 40 prizes donated by local traders. The top ones are two laptop computers, £100 in cash and a silver bracelet also worth £100. Entry forms have been delivered to 14 Hayes primary schools and copies can also be picked up from Botwell Green Library where completed entries must be received by noon on Monday 30 October.
