The Legal 500, a leading UK legal directory, has announced its results for law firms across the country for 2020. Its findings reveal that B P Collins has achieved an exceptional number of top tier rankings in a range of practices and a huge number of lawyers have been “recommended.” Legal 500 supports its findings by saying that:
“B P Collins has proved willing to assist with and fit in with client expectations while maintaining high standards.”
The immigration practice, which “advises on a wide range of business and private immigration matters;” the contentious trusts and probate team, which is praised by one client for being, “thorough, tenacious, pragmatic and always client focused;” and the commercial property practice, which offers an “excellent service” have all been recommended by Legal 500 for the first time.
It also continues to award top tier status to the corporate and commercial; commercial litigation; employment; family; personal tax, trusts and probate; and environment practices.
This year, B P Collins “outstanding” partner Alex Zachary has been recognised as a “leading lawyer” for his work in the corporate and commercial team for the first time, while retaining his elite status in environment.
Craig Williams has also been listed as an “elite” for his work in contentious trusts and probate in 2020, while retaining his “leading lawyer” status in commercial litigation.
Meanwhile, “leading lawyers” from last year have all retained their status in the 2020 guide. They are Sue Andrews, family; Simon Deans, corporate and commercial; and Jo Davis, employment.
The Legal 500 has also announced that Maria Mowberry, commercial property partner has now entered its exclusive “Next Generation” category, which Legal 500 regard as “new partners that make a material difference to their practice.” Clients noted that Maria, “uses her wealth of experience and extensive understanding of the property world to assist in matters for both commercial and private individuals.”
It also continues to recognise Fran Hipperson and Claire Filer, family; Lucy Wood in personal tax, trusts and probate; Chris Brazier in immigration and employment and Kathryn Fielder in employment in its ‘Next Generation’ category.
A new category – “Rising Stars” – has been introduced this year and an outstanding five lawyers have been listed. They are Rajiv Malhotra and Simon Carroll, dispute resolution; Kathryn Fielder, employment and Dominic Ibbs and Sharon Heselton in personal trust, tax and probate.
