We all know this is going to be a big year for London, with the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations but let’s not forget a very important issue, the Mayoral Elections.
Ken Livingstone, who was Mayor from 2000 – 2008, will be standing as the Labour candidate in the forthcoming elections. Ken’s campaign message is that he is standing for office to put London first and use his experience of office to get the most from what will be a difficult economic and political time for London.
Come along to this breakfast event, kindly hosted by Westfield London, to hear from one of your Mayoral candidates.
“I want to be Mayor for one overriding reason: if I am elected my focus will be to do everything I can to protect Londoners from the recession and the effects of the Government’s policies” Ken Livingstone 2012
